Date Set for 2013!
The 2013 Friday Harbor Airport Fly-In and Open House is scheduled for July 27th. As last year, the show will run from 10am to 3pm, with a Pancake Breakfast from 8-10am. Admission and parking are free.

2012 SHOW SCHEDULE
This is last year's schedule. The 2013 will be released soon.
10:00 - Opening Ceremony, American Legion Post 163 color Guard. Invocation by Legion Chaplain. National Anthem sung by Suzanne LeDuc. Navy EA-18G and EA-6B Fly-By Salute.
10:10 - Displays Open, including aircraft displays, videos flight simulator, model airplanes, EAA exhibit, and more.
10:00-3:00 - Aircraft Fly-Bys and Demonstrations.
10:30 - Drawing for free flights.
11:00 - Winners' rides - CJ-6 and Helicopter
11:30 - Drawing for free flights.
12:00 - B-25 Fly-over.
12:30 - Blackjack Squadron formation flight demonstations and arrival.
Drawing for free flights.
Display aircraft judging ends.
12:45 - Winners' rides - CJ-6 and Helicopter.
1:00 - L-29 Jet Fly-By.
Seminar - iPad in the Cockpit, Loren DeShon, Westwind Aviation.
Glider Flying Contest for kids.
1:30 - Results of Aircraft Judging announced.
2:15 - Winners' rides - Kenmore Air Scenic Flight.

Calling All Volunteers
The Friday Harbor Fly-In and Open House is a largely volunteer based community activity. In addition to planning and coordination there is a need for help in the following areas:
Signage, Automobile Parking, Greeting guests, Coordinating Volunteer Tasks on site, Setting displays Hauling tables, chairs, tents, etc. Clean up Etc., etc.
Speaking of tables, chairs, and tents, we need to borrow all we can for that day. In addition, if you have a golf cart to bring to the airport, we need some to transport those who need some assistance, and to transport volunteers and supplies. If you would like to be a part of the Fly-In, don't hesitate to call or email Airport Manager Dave Ryan. He's at 360.317.8674, or daver@portfridayharbor.org
